My design journey began when I was four years old and hand-sewed a pair of bunny slippers with my fourth-grade teacher. From there, my love for creation only grew, my experience teaching me the language of creative problem-solving.  Throughout my education, my design style has evolved to incorporate bright colors and bold, unusual silhouettes and shapes. Within my undergraduate career, I have focused on how creative design can be used to communicate messages of resistance and hope. In 2026, I was awarded the Fashion Scholarship Fund and the Macy’s Jeff Gennette Scholarship for my design case study “Her Flowing Harmony." As I look ahead in my career, I aim to become a leading designer in a new era of the fashion industry. Transforming it into a more sustainable and inclusive space for all people.
